Royals MMXIX Fantasy Baseball Champion!!

I was the #3 seed in our Fantasy Baseball Playoffs, out of 4 teams.  My team had not been playing well heading into the playoffs.  In fact, my team was doing so bad that I was scared I would get bumped from the playoffs in the last two weeks.  It was a close championship, with team Sponge Babe coming out on top, 275.5-266.5.  Here is the team I drafted at the beginning of the season.

My MVP of the last day of the championship was Carlos Santana.  I got him as a steal in the draft, and he sat in my utility position all year and balled.

My MVP of Championship week was Trey Mancini.  He went off for 36 points.  I picked him up as a free agent in the season, dropped him, and picked him back up!

It was almost a mistake leaving him on the bench, as he had 31 points during championship week.  I had only picked him up the last couple of weeks of the season.

Almost another big mistake, as he had 27.5 points in two starts championship week.  I had picked him up the last week to potentially start him, which I'm glad it didn't hurt me in the end.

This guy had been on and off my bench all year, but was  placed on the restricted list championship week.

Brent Rooker

I got a late season TTM back pretty quickly from Twins prospect, Brent Rooker.  I always like the way the Twins rookie cards look compared to other teams!

2019 Topps Archives

I tend to get excited about the yearly release of Archives because I like the reproduction of the old designs.  This year, however, I was a little disappointed.  The designs are ok, but I felt an overwhelming "blah" as I opened my packs from my blaster box.

2019 Topps Fire

I get excited about the yearly Topps Fire release, much like Bowman Platinum.  These are two sets that are different than the other sets produced...new photos of the players that are not reused or have a million inserts in different colors.  I bought two hanger packs, however, multiple duplicates...typical Topps.
