I have collected baseball cards and autographs over the years. I still have boxes full of cards (as well as newer cards) that are just sitting there. So, I have decided to see how many of them I can get autographed. I use through the mail as my preferred route for this adventure. I also have an account on Zistle and The Trading Card Database for trading purposes (stevienicks77).
Another Zistle trade completed this week with TNTCardsStg. I was able to hook him up with a variety of things, but I was able to get him several Green Bay Packers, which are one of his favorite teams. He was able to hook me up with several of my 2016 Opening Day needs.
I made a small trade with jayfan46 from Zistle. I was able to hook him up with some awesome Blue Jay cards, while he was able to help my player collections.
Greg Holland - He's currently a free agent, but I read that the Royals are considering bringing him back, which I hope they do. I hope he can do what Luke Hochaver did after coming back after his Tommy John surgery. By the way, Luke Hochaver is a free agent, and the Royals will probably not bring him back.
I had read on the internet that Topps was doing a "snow flake" design in place of "the cloud" for the holiday season, and that these cards are only at Walmart. Given the way my Walmart poorly keeps up-to-date cards stocked, I figured they would be sold out. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised that they had several boxes available. I did notice on the box it said there was a relic or autograph in every box. Here's what I got:
Token catcher card:
Metallic Snowflake cards:
And, last but not least, Yoenis Cespedes. I think I got all of him (except the autograph) in one box!
Remember when Bob Brower was "the rookie" to collect? I have quite a few of his cards still in my collection, so I decided to send a few off for a TTM request. I have always appreciated the 1988 Fleer and Topps designs from that year.

Another little Zistle trade completed, and another trade with sorphan10. Again, sorphan10 worked with me for awhile on this trade due to my busy schedule, and we got it done.
Mark McGwire. These are cards that are from the years where I was not collecting, so it's nice to add them to my player collection.
Eric Hosmer. As I said the other day, I want to really amp up my Hosmer collection. I would love to get a printing plate and a "rainbow" of him.
2011 Heritage set. Another SP that I need for the set.
Ryne Sandberg. A couple of Ryno's for the player collection. I had never seen the Topps American Pie set. It is a thicker card. sorphan10 had the rainbow for trade, but I opted for the red because it goes with the Cubbie blue.
When I opened a box of 2016 Bowman, this was one of the first cards out of the packs, and I liked the way the card looked, and I really wanted to take a shot to see if I could get an autograph on it. Well, I was lucky to get this one back over the weekend. Trey Mancini spent most of the year in AA and AAA, where he hit a combined 20 HR. He did get a September call up, where he did well, hitting .357.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this return form Lucas Sims. I had sent this request to him when he was in the Arizona Fall League in 2015 with the Peoria Javelinas. Lucas was invited to the Braves spring training last year, but spent time with their AA and AAA teams. Friday, he was added to the Braves 40 man roster. Hopefully, he'll be pitching for the Braves in 2017!!!

I have come into some free time, so I've been trying to catch up on Zistle trades before it goes caput. paulb was gracious enough to work with me to get this trade done. I got several cards for several different sets.
One more 2015 Topps...now I just need a Kris Bryant card and this set is completed.
Player collection mini...He has two different cards in this Gypsy Queen set. I like this one better than the other card he has in the set.
Although I have Eric Hosmer as one of the players I collect, I am considering making my Hosmer collection bigger. I would say he is one of my favorite players.
I have accumulated a pile of PWE's that I know are TTM requests that are back, but I haven't had time to look at what I got until now.
The first one is from former Royal Buddy Biancalana. It is one of my favorite years of Topps designs, however his autograph is smudged. Bummer.

I wanted to start sending out a few NFL TTM requests, and I have gotten a couple back so far, but none as big as this one. Former Ole Miss Rebel, Eli Manning. The scan is not that great, but it's a great looking card with the autograph!
Sent c/o New York Giants
I sent out a bunch of TTM requests to MLB players prior to the end of the season. I had read that Aaron Nola signs, but I guess he's now got one of these pre-printed cards.
