Welcome to my blog!!!

I have collected baseball cards and autographs over the years. I still have boxes full of cards (as well as newer cards) that are just sitting there. So, I have decided to see how many of them I can get autographed. I use through the mail as my preferred route for this adventure. I also have an account on Zistle and The Trading Card Database for trading purposes (stevienicks77).

2015 Heritage High Number

I wanted to buy a pack or something of the 2015 Heritage High Number.  It seems like it came out awhile ago, so I was worried I might not get any.  My current store does not keep cards in stock like they used to in years past, or someone is hogging all the cards!  Here's the goodies:

Most people know him as the guy who can pitch with either arm, I know him as Creighton Blue Jay Alumni, Pat Venditte!

2015 Topps Chrome, take 2

I was at the store this weekend, looking to see if I could snag any 2015 Heritage High Number cards. While I was there, I saw a pack of 2015 Chrome that said "pink cards."  I couldn't resist.  Here's my goodies:

Token catcher card.

This is a pretty awesome picture!

Token Royal

And...the pink cards!  I am going to keep the Abreu for my own PC, and I might try to get the Moreland autographed next year.

Mark Grant

Mark Grant is currently a broadcaster for the Padres.  I had written these cards off long ago, but I am excited to have them back.  For some reason, I appreciate the '88 Donruss and how the autograph looks on those cards.

Jonathan Lucroy

Jonathan Lucroy started off the 2015 season injured, but when he came back, he was playing well enough that I picked him up in my fantasy baseball league after he got off the DL.  Thank goodness, because I stupidly dropped Evan Gattis!  However, he suffered a concussion at the end of the year, and ended the season on the DL, and was unable to help team Sponge Babe finish runner-up in my league.

Eric Hinske

Eric Hinske is currently the Cubs assistant hitting coach.  Now that the Cubs have made the playoffs, he had some time to sign my cards!  I love the red boarder on the Braves card!
