Welcome to my blog!!!

I have collected baseball cards and autographs over the years. I still have boxes full of cards (as well as newer cards) that are just sitting there. So, I have decided to see how many of them I can get autographed. I use through the mail as my preferred route for this adventure. I also have an account on Zistle and The Trading Card Database for trading purposes (stevienicks77).

Top 5 cards I bought in 2025

I really didn't keep up with my blog well this year, especially from a trade and purchasing standpoint.  However, I did do enough posts to recognize my top 5 purchases of the year.

5. T.J. Hockenson - 2020 Mosaic - purchased from eBay.  I'm trying other get the rainbow, and I'm currently at the part of the rainbow where it's getting tough with low numbered cards, but I was able to snag this /15 for a good price.

4. Kris Bryant - 2022 Topps Update - purchased at "Road to the National Card Show - Omaha edition.  Only my second HFA ever, as I was lucky enough to pull an Aaron Judge.

3.  Ryne Sandberg - 1990 Ryne Sandberg unlicensed.  I found this beauty in a quarter box at the March Council Bluffs card show.

4. George Brett - 2012 Topps Update - Over 20 years later, still trying to pull and/or buy all the ASG cards, base and SP, from 2012 Topps Update.  Although this has been on eBay throughout the years, it finally was a good price to buy.

1. Ryne Sandberg 1983 Topps.  I purchased this at "Road to the National Card Show - Omaha edition.  At the time, we all knew his health was rapidly declining and I told myself that I still can't believe I didn't have a Topps RC in my PC of Ryno.  Unfortunately, I'm still missing the Fleer RC.
