You'll never believe it! I finally found some cards at my my local big box store! I had to do a triple take when I checked the section. I grabbed some 2021 Topps Series 1 and some 2021 Heritage. They had the tins with Javy Baez on it, so here is what was in it:

Here are my latest eBay pick-ups. Luckily, we have finally found and bought a house in Omaha, so we'll be working on moving! I'm so excited because that means I will get back to trading on TCDB!

I'm sure some of you may be tired of seeing all my Sportslots goodies, but since there is literally NO PRODUCT on the shelves here in Kansas City, these posts take place of what would normally be my posts about new product on the shelves. The best thing to come out of the pandemic, in relation to my collection goals, is my growing achievements in set, player and mega collections. Money well spent, although I don't hardly have any 2020 or 2021 trade bait.
Set collection needs
I've been struggling a little bit on organization of my player collections within my binders. I have the actual player collections organized, but my question to you is...how do you organize your Player X pages?
For example, take Starlin Castro. Do you organize by year and team? Brand and/or year and/or team? Just throw them in the pages as you get them/no organization what so ever?
Duplicates...I unfortunately sometimes trade and buy a card and then end up with two. Do you keep only one card in your player collection binders? Store the duplicates in boxes? Places all cards in your player collection pages?
I'm quite curious to hear and read everyone's responses. I have been seeing a few posts on Twitter about this, so I wanted to hear your thoughts!
I decided (probably not the wisest decision) to try to do a football "rainbow." I picked T.J. Hockenson, Iowa Hawkeye football alumni, because he's one of my favorite players. I have listed on my blog's home page the cards I need. If I can get over 50% of this rainbow completed, I'll probably have to call that a win. Here's my eBay rainbow additions:
