I have collected baseball cards and autographs over the years. I still have boxes full of cards (as well as newer cards) that are just sitting there. So, I have decided to see how many of them I can get autographed. I use through the mail as my preferred route for this adventure. I also have an account on Zistle and The Trading Card Database for trading purposes (stevienicks77).
For those of us on Zistle, we're not sure how much longer the site will be functional, so I think most of us are trying to get in trades while we can. I have done several trades with hpennington22, and we did another big one after Christmas.

I got a small envelop back before Christmas from Kevin Plawecki. I sent this card out at the beginning of the year, and figured it was going to be a write off, but I'm thrilled to have it back.

I also got a return to sender from Ben Lively. He is a pitcher in the Phillies system. I sent this letter to Lehigh Valley, but I must have sent it too late for the year.
To start off 2017, I wanted to finish looking at the top Debbie Downer's of my 2016 TTM. I did not sent out many TTM requests this year, however, I did have two that made the list.
Jody Davis - The former Cub is currently in the minors with the Louisville Bats. I had seen on various sites that he signs, however, I got an RTS stating he "was no longer at this address." He is still currently the hitting coach for Louisville. I may try again next year.
J.J. Watt - I had read that he signs requests sent to his home address, however, I did not have any luck.
Number 1 of 2016 goes to the longest I think I've ever waited to a request to come back; 2, 053 days!!!! I sent this card out when Omir was in spring training with the Tigers. Currently, Omir and his wife own and operate Triple Crown Sport Academy. Most recently, Omir is with the Indians minor league system.
Number 2 of 2016 is Logan Moon, minor league outfielder in the Kansas City Royals organization. He spent the year at Northwest Arkansas, which is the AA affiliate of the Royals. Logan is a local player; he is originally from Blue Springs and went to college in Joplin. Look forward to him moving up through the Royals system, to Omaha and then to Kansas City!!
Number 3 of 2016 is from one of the few NFL TTM requests I sent out this year. Eli Manning signed my card quickly and sent it back. I had bought a pack of Topps Platinum on a whim, and this was one of the cards in the pack. The Topps Platinum is much like Bowman Platinum; I like the way they both look.
Number 4 of 2016 is Marcus Semien. I will echo the sentiments I stated on the post I made yesterday about Kennys Vargas, I love when spring training starts, and I love sending new cards to players in spring training. Like Kennys Vargas, I sent these to Marcus during spring training. The Topps cards is obviously photoshopped, as Marcus spent his first full season in Oakland in 2016. I also love getting cards without gloss autographed; they are less prep work!
