I decided (probably not the wisest decision) to try to do a football "rainbow." I picked T.J. Hockenson, Iowa Hawkeye football alumni, because he's one of my favorite players. I have listed on my blog's home page the cards I need. If I can get over 50% of this rainbow completed, I'll probably have to call that a win. Here's my eBay rainbow additions:
I swear I order cards on Sportslots once a week! I spend what I would normally be spending on blasters (still haven't found any Topps Series 1 out in the wild). I'm continue to work on mega collection goals, yet not having any signifiant 2020 or 2021 product, I fear, will hinder trading opportunities once we move, which will be this summer at the latest! Player collections - went big on some Terry Steinbach cards...I realized there were quite a few I was missing, especially from 1992-on
If you read my blog, you are well aware of how I've been getting my card "fix" lately. It's actually been a good way for me to work on some mega collections that have been a little bit difficult to trade for on TCDB. For example, Sportslots is a great place to get those awesome late 1980's-early 1990's minor league cards. I decided to do the math, and it seemed like a good financial decision. However, I don't know that I saved all that much money and I had to wait longer to get my cards. It's probably just me, but I'd rather pay a little more and get my cards sooner...call me impatient! LOL Here is a sampling of my goodies I got:

With the lack of blasters, hangers, etc. to buy, I'm really hitting websites to help me complete some mega collections, and get some 2020 cards for my player collections. This was a huge buy, but I'm happy I was able to knock off quite a few needs!
