Another quick Sportslot purchase

I wanted to gt some cards for my mega collections that I have been unable to trade for via TCDB.  I was really looking for football and hockey cards, and I think I did fairly well!  I have been pretty happy with the trades and purchases I've been making lately.  I collect weird mega collections because they make me happy and I learn something, and it has been very rewarding, especially this week!

A surprise TTM envelope!

I got a couple of PWE full of TTM requests back this week.  One was a huge surprise!  I can't even find on my log sheet when I sent it, but it has to be a long time ago because the forever stamp was a plant, it had my maiden name on it and it was in a large envelope instead of a small one.  If I had to guess, I'd say I sent it in 2012ish.

2019 Fantasy Baseball

Team Sponge Babe is ready for another season!  Since it's opening day, I thought I would post my draft results and see if I can have a successful season!  I used a different draft strategy this year, so lets see how it worked out for me:

3rd Round - Also on Team Sponge Babe last year

9th Round - He will be one of my OF, initially

10th Round - Had to get at least an average catcher

14th Round - Will start the season injured, but I think I can afford to keep him benched for a couple of weeks

15th Round - Hopefully an underrated OF pick-up; will start season on the IL

16th Round - spot starter

17th Round

18th Round - hopefully a great pick-up at this spot in the draft

19th Round - Per my projections, he should have been a Top 25 player; hopefully a HUGE steal!

20th Round

21st Round - The day after I drafted him, he had surgery that will keep him our for awhile; I dropped him and picked up....

Low risk, high reward...hopefully!!

Billy McKinney bounced back and forth between the minors and the Yankees last year before being traded at the trade deadline to the Blue Jays.  He spent the rest of the year between Toronto and their AAA club.

Cy Sneed was drafted my the Brewers, but traded to Houston after the 2015 season.  He is a non-roster invitee to Spring Training with the Astros this spring.
