I have decided to do a few more mega collections. These are of local teams, including Iowa Western CC baseball and Creighton basketball. I decided to hit up Sportslots to help fill my initial needs. I don't have many basketball cards to trade, so I worried that it would be hard to come across the basketball cards. One of my favorite things about Sportslots is filling the order with PC cards!

Ah, the monthly card show fell on my birthday this year! What a great gift! 😀 My usual "dealer by the door" was there, and with new stuff to boot! While sorting his boxes, he had a Kris Bryant auto on the table, and because I need a Cubs auto of Bryant, I decided to ask what it would cost. I'll just say I got a great deal (as always from this guy) on a 1/5 Kris Bryant Cubs auto. It's a sticker auto, but I'm ok with that.
I wasn't big on this year's Heritage design. I've seen it before in Archives. However, once I got some in my hand, I felt a little different. I love the feel of Heritage every year. I like the action designs, however, I hate the head shots (too close to their face). I was not overly impressed with what I got in my blaster box, either.

I have to rely on Sportslots because I just don't have the time to do trade on TCDB. I'd love to open it up for trades again, but I get so many offers I just can't keep up. 😟 Plus, the bonus of Sportslots is I can get the hard to find cards I need for my mega collections. I have also used it as an opportunity to increase my football player collections.
