A quick, but very worthwhile trade with abendermsu.  He was able to hook me up with quite a few cards I need for sets I'm trying to put together.  One day (I hope), I'll have these things done!

My favorite card of the trade is the Edgar Martinez.  Glad to see him in some recent sets.

First TCDB trade with Tom from The Angels, In Order.  I've known Tom for quite awhile now through our blogs.  We were able to do a quick PWE trade.

I never had the chance to college all these Fleer inserts when I was a kid; they just weren't available in my area.

I love the old Tigers logo!

Not sure why they didn't follow the original 1987 Topps and use the whole circle for the logo.  Missed opportunity, esp. with the Mets logo.

My second return was a return from Dennis Martinez.  I saw he had been signing quite a bit, but he sent my cards back, unsigned, with a note that stated to send to pastpros.com.  Really bummed about this because I had sent a No Hitter card and a nice looking Upper Deck.

This is my very first graded card I have ever bought.  I have been wanting one for some time, and I decided the first one should be something that means a lot to me.  That brings me to my love for all things 1987 Topps and one of my favorite players of all time, Gary Carter!

Tracy Woodson

I'm so excited to have these TTM cards back from Tracy Woodson.  I have forgotten how much I love the 1989 Score design; simple and basic.  Plus the blue signature looks great with the blue on the cards and the Dodger blue uni.

Monthly card show roundup

I had a great time at the card show this month, and I also got a great haul!  My usual guy, Tom, had some new boxes to go through and I was able to gather quite a few 2022 Topps Series 2 and Update needs.  Still have a ways to go on those sets, but I'm getting closer almost every day.
