Another Sportslots purchase

I'm really liking Sportslots, but still not as much as COMC.  I just feel that my cards are in better shape when they are shipped from COMC versus Sportslots.  What Sportslots really does for me is help me complete the outstanding sets I've been working on forever.  The first set I am targeting is 2010 Topps Pro Debut.  Although, it will be hard to get a Trout and Russell Wilson, I got a good chunk of cards for cheap.

To maximize the shipping costs, I picked up a few extra cards at cheap prices that I need for various player collections.

Reese McGuire

This one came back last week from Spring Training 2017!  Reese was a non-roster invitee back in 2017.  He spent 2017 at three different levels in the Blue Jays system.  This year, he's starting at Buffalo, the Blue Jays Triple A team.

2018 Heritage

I was also able to snag some 2018 Heritage when I got my 2018 GQ.  Again, the design is cool because it's old, and I just love the feel of those cards in my hand!  Unlike my GQ blaster box, this one was not as exciting.  Again, my iPhone scan app did not do me justice.

2018 Gypsy Queen

Since I have been pretty immobile, I have been crazy to purchase new product.  This year's GQ design didn't spark my interest, much like 2018 Topps flagship.  However, once I had it in my hand, boy, do those cards feel good!  I feel like it's some of the best photos GQ has ever used.  I have yet to put together a set of GQ, but I don't know that this set is the place to start.  Plus, I've got too many uncompleted sets to start a new one right now.  I bought a blaster box, and here's what I got (sorry the scans are terrible...it was from a iPhone scan app.

Hosmer PINK!

I just might be crazy, but somehow, I think I'd like to put together my first "rainbow" set of cards.  I have chosen Eric Hosmer and 2016 Topps Chrome.  Through COMC purchases, I have acquired almost all of the fairly easy card to obtain, but the pink and purple are quite pricy on COMC.  So, I ventured to eBay.  I picked up this beauty for $1.00 with free shipping!

Josh Naylor

A TTM back from the AFL!  Josh Naylor was originally with the Marlins, but was traded to the Padres in 2016 in the Andrew Cashner trade.  He was a 2016 & 2017 Futures game participant and named to the all-AFL team in 2017.  The Padres did invite Naylor as a non-roster invitee to spring training, where he hit .211 with 1 HR.
