Welcome to my blog!!!

I have collected baseball cards and autographs over the years. I still have boxes full of cards (as well as newer cards) that are just sitting there. So, I have decided to see how many of them I can get autographed. I use through the mail as my preferred route for this adventure. I also have an account on Zistle and The Trading Card Database for trading purposes (stevienicks77).

Since I don't have the time to trade...

I've been grappling with reopening my TCDB trades, however, my fear is I will get a ton of offers and then I can't get to everyone, which is what usually happens.  I just don't know how to manage it.  I don't have time to look at it daily, maybe twice a week, so I wonder if I should do it again or not.  I really miss trading; I've been hitting up Sportslots and getting what I need/want instead,  but in the long run, I'd rather trade.

Speaking of Sportlots, my last two orders have centered around getting cards of PC guys who I've been unable to trade for over the years on TCDB.  Then, following my rules, I fill in with PC guys to maximize my orders for shipping purposes.

This is only a sampling of all the cards I got of the three guys I was chasing:

Terry and Gary Carter were my guys during that time because I was a catcher in little league.

Packers are going to love this guy.  Wasn't used like he should have been at Iowa.

Gosh, I love the minor league cards of the junk wax era

$0.18 Bobby Witt; I'm not a big money collector, so I'll take what I can get.

I would say this may be the first time I've "prospected" but there are literally no other Cubs to collect right now other than Happ and Contreras
