Austin Rei

Spring training TTM's are slowly tricking in.  It's one of the few things I can get excited about these days.  Today, I just got word I may have to go long on my recovery than I thought.  This whole surgery...what I thought was going to be 6 weeks total, has turned into 2 weeks with a post-op splint/cast, followed by a whole 6 weeks in a boot and non-weight bearing.  I'm SO bored!  Anyway, Austin Rei is a catcher in the Red Sox system.  Austin was drafted in the 3rd round in 2015.  He was a non-roster invitee to spring training, where he has 1 hit in 9 at bats.  There is quite a log jam in Boston behind the plate, with Sandy Leon, Blake Swihart, and Christian Vazquez.
